Access to Epirus can be performed with ease and convenience, as the area is served by Ioannina Airport, Preveza – Aktion Airport, and Thessaloniki Airport, for both National & International flights.

By Sea

The international port of Igoumenitsa provides direct access to Central Europe through the Italian ports of Bari, Brindisi & Ancona, but also a connection to Patra Port.

By Lake

From 2022 there will be regular seaplane flights from Ioannina lake to / from Corfu Island.

By Roadway

Epirus is a key – crossroad region in northern Greece, connecting the East to Europe, and the South to the Balkans. There is road access via the Egnatia Motorway A2 – E90 to/from Thessaloniki and Northeastern Cities, and via the Ionia Motorway A5 to/from Athens and Southwestern Cities.

Regional Transportation

Service within the region is performed by the local urban and intercity buses, besides the private transportation, due to the excellent network connecting the traditional villages, the activity camps and nature’s settlements.
